GAYLE KONING, General Manager
    Gayle has worked for Nelmeeks, Inc. (d/b/a Radisson Inn [1996 – 2004] and currently d/b/a Best Western Lafayette Executive Plaza and Conference Center) for thirteen (13) years. She held the positions of Guest Service Representative, Front Office Manager, Administrative Director and has been the General Manager for eleven (11) years. She received her education in Pittsburgh, PA, with additional certifications from American Institute of Banking (Principles of Banking); Radisson Hotels International (Certified General Manager); Best Western International (Certified Revenue Manager); and Ohio State University (Certified Pool Operator). Gayle answers directly to the owner and is responsible for 120 employees in all departments (Front Desk; Housekeeping; Banquets; Engineering; Sales; Hour Time Restaurant and Buccaneer Bay Aquatic Fun Center). Prior to her years in the hospitality industry, she worked in City Government for twelve (12) years and in Banking for five (5) years.

BROOKE PEREZ, Front Office Manager
    Brooke has been in the hospitality industry for fifteen (15) years, working for Nelmeeks, Inc. for ten (10) years. She has a degree in Hospitality Management from Purdue University. She has worked as a Guest Service Representative, Bell Captain, Restaurant Hostess, Banquet Bartender, Sales Manager and is currently the Front Office Manager, responsible for twelve (12) GSR’s. She has received the ‘Outstanding Hospitality Star’ award from the Lafayette Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

SHERI KARL, Director of Catering
    Sheri has been with our hotel for thirty-one (31) years as the Director of Catering, under the flags of Howard Johnson, Radisson and currently Best Western International. Her experience and expertise has enabled thousands of events to become memorable to all who attend. Because Sheri prides herself on detail and customer service, she has an enormous amount of return business. Sheri loves attending college athletic functions, particularly Purdue University, and is an avid traveler.
